Some interesting speculation and funny commentary in the article above. As I was watching trailer 3, I couldn't stop thinking "Robin", but if he's a cop, then the origins are different from Dick Grayson's. |

Though…Blake was terrorised by the Joker, hence him wanting to become a cop; a nemesis of evil… so a leap to Robin would make sense.

I suppose a frustrated cop could turn vigilante, but if John Blake becomes Robin, that departs from the comic book origins of the Robin 1 character significantly. Robin 1 was Dick Grayson, a trapeze artist, whose parents tragically die forcing Batman, who sees himself in the young Dick Grayson, to adopt him and eventually train him as his sidekick. |

Okay. Watched the trailers. Nothing in the scene were Bane tosses Batman's cowl aside say's that Wayne was wearing it. And the Bane / Wayne scene looks to takes place somewhere much drier than the sewer scene were Bane tosses the cowl aside. Up for conjecture due to the way the items are cut together. Not saying your wrong mind you.
