CG Apes in the next Planet of the Apes movie?
Does this spell the end for movie extras as Hollywood gets set to ride the coat tails of AVATAR?

However, I'm really looking forward to this! Apparently, they're looking to tie it into the original '68 PotA.

It's hardly riding the coat-tails of Avatar as such - CGI creatures have been used fairly frequently in movies since Jurassic Park started them off in 1993.
Just the technology changes.
