Question What is your favorite last bridge shot?

There have been several shots of the bridge as the final scene for the movies with the crew together. Here are the most notable ones that have the crew seen together before the end credits of the movie, or at least near the end credits of the movie (minus the shots of the ship or the events on Earth after the Enterprise-E goes into warp in First Contact).

I have to be honest and say that of those three - I only like the 2009 Bridge.

I've never liked the TUC bridge for a very long time - just find it exceptionally bland - and the Sovereign Bridge isn't my least favourite but not my overall favourite either (I just hate those stupid little consoles sitting in front of Riker and Troi but I've suddenly noticed how like the yeoman stations on the 2009 bridge Worf and Crushers positions are on the E). If they hadn't wrecked the D Bridge in Generations then that one would probably have been it but I can't choose that one!

Out of those three - I'd pick Star Trek.

Overall, I might choose the ending of TMP. I rather liked that Bridge. Although I don't recall offhand if it has the same kind of 'hero' shot the others came to usually end with.

It was just a close up of Kirk's face.

But here is the last shot of the entire bridge in the film:

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

I would have liked to have seen more of this bridge on screen.

Sadly the only part of the refitted bridge that was changed was from what we saw on screen here. Since it was just a small scene, this area was just shot. Everything else that off screen was as it had appeared in I, II and III. The consoles were the same. But I agree, I wish we saw more of this bridge.

Speaking of this version of the Enterprise-A bridge, I notice that this also had a white interior.

Yup, contrary to popular rumour Abrams didn't actually devise the blindingly all white Enterprise Bridge first.

He was about 21 years late on that, or 29 if we take TMP (which admittedly had softer lighting but was still all white)!!

I was actually referring to more screen time. I'm sure they would have had a complete bridge if they used the sets in 5 and 6.

This set was reused and redressed for the bridge of the Stargazer, the Enterprise C and the Bozeman in TNG.

I didn't notice this till now, but in the ST4 shot, Kirk is still wearing the admiral's tunic though he's been demoted to captain and has the captain's rank pin. Notice the gold line along the black on the chest of the tunic.
