It's also the second Trek of the decade.

Batman Begins was the best reboot of the decade, IMO.

Maybe "Batman Begins" was the better movie. But rebooting Batman was immense easier. So I think it's fair to give the title to Trek, because it achieved much more.

What did it achieve exactly besides making Paramount a ton of money? It trashed TOS characters, made Star Trek indistinguishable from other space based sci-fi dramas, by removing its signature elements, wiping away, or making irrelevant 40 years of consistently developed fictional canon.

Indeed. Nolan is for Batman what Meyer was for Trek. Abrams on the other hand ... I better don't make any comparisons.
