Custom Avatars?
I may be seeming ignorant here but I'm not sure I see where you can set a custom avatar from an external link. I don't think I'm skipping it either...in all my years of using forums, I think I could find this. Is it just not there?

Thanks for the quick response, Redshirt. I do believe there is an option in the ACP of vBulletin forums, but I haven't used one in awhile.

when you go to User CP > Edit Aavatar is there a box to check for a custom one?

I see the following:
 It could be that the default member group is only allowed to have the board default (in this case, the Star Trek logo and the UFP logo, as set by you guys) avatars rather than custom avatars. In some group options in ACPs, there is a "Allow custom avatar" y/n field.
