I don't like the new sub-forums at all. Previously, you could skim through everything and participate. Now, I find myself not going bothering with going through every single subforum for something to interest me. I also find it segmenting the fan discussions instead of trying to encourage them. A system where an icon could be put next to a thread specific to a series would have done the same classification job without making the forums into all these separate entities.
