The Stratford Town Council voted last night to name the new school being built to replace the old Honeyspot School "Victoria Soto School."
The building is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
There is also a movement to rename the street in front of Stratford High School from North Parade to Victoria Soto Way, but that has yet to be discussed.
