If Dalton were to be in GoldenEye the film was to be called The Property of a Lady. Sadly he stepped down from the role due to the long wait and constant deadline changes in production. It would have been cool seeing Dalton as Bond for a third time. But in the end, it was ultimately his choice to step down from the part.
