Yeah, that Galactica news was one of the more recent reports. I don't strictly know why getting a script together seems so problematic. The basic template is laid out and has been a few times. You just have to write it for present times a bit and, fair enough, you would need a studio willing to spend a heavy wad of cash for the visual effects side...............but if Universal can spend in excess of $250 million on 'Battleship' they can find some dough for something like Battlestar Galactica.
I'd have thought, anyway.
