Star Trek was no where close to wining an Oscar on anything.
It was bad in writing and was far from best picture as you could get. I'm completely dismissive of the Academy but they got this write.

In there eyes Trek can do no wrong as long as the fix is satisfied.
I don't think Trek is actually brain dead.
They brought the body back but it's a sack of meat.
I think Star Trek, because of these Trek At All Cost Fans will suck Toes from here on out.
