Phlox was definitely not the second Neelix some fans initially feared he might be, one of favourite character. A night in sickbay and Dear Doctor are both episodes showing what a good character he is.
I agree the ep is one of the funniest of the season, was cool to see how all the crazy creatures were fed and looked after.
