Okay, so the fleet all face the same direction, but that's coördination i guess. But the camera moved freely around the ship, showing it upsidedown, downwards, sidewards, anything. I really liked that!

This is one of the things I loved about the movie.
It really showed space as being 3 dimentional.
That pan from the Bridge viewer/window, and the camera twisting to reveal the Narada, with the upside-down Enterprise saucer above.
