Ray Bradbury - poetic, very human stories
Harlan Ellison - take no prisoners, in your face dark fantasy and science fiction
Richard Matheson - takes the everyday, and turns it on it's head
Murray Leinster - Would Star Trek exist without this man's form of western adventure meets science fiction storytelling? I doubt it!
Henry Kuttner - read one of his paragraphs, describing some out of this world artifact, or scene... breathtaking!
John W. Campbell - The man who forced science fiction to grow up and become something more than juvinile "comic book" stuff.
Robert Heinlien - Honestly, this man could write a grocery list that could sell 3 million copies.
