I think you'll find many people's view on this sorta thing varies... but I tend to side with the majority of opinion from fans 50ish and higher... even though I'm only 33 myself. So it's not about your age, but how you yourself see Trek... which to me is something special and the acters that played the original characters are part of that 'special' thing... sure it's nice to 're-imagine' Trek... unless this idea flops... who's to say yet... but it will never be as special as the first one to me even if this one 'takes flight'.

Like Scotty said, "Ah, it's like the first time you fall in love. You never love a woman quite like that again." And yes I'm old enough to know that, is very, very, true.
