I just had a most emotional evening watching the DVD in the comfort of my bedroom on a HD set - but I noticed one major change that indicates this DVD has been edited materially from the movie...

Don't know where the gloming on for Mudd came from anyway. He was great in his day but there might be a real issue of deflating momentum if such an episode were done badly, which it really could be....
