I can understand being a writer in the industry and being.....

jaded wanting to see something.... more substantial.

But much like Roger Ebert's review showed he is too much of an insider and has too long a memory.... sometimes those of us not in the industry...

The play on Spock's humanity makes......

the Uhura variation understandable (regarding the kiss and closeness). Spock is embracing his humanity more..... in honor of his dead mother and his "still there" secondary homeworld.

Maybe 30 people in a 100 seat theatre......

It wasn't advertised (they put up the Star Trek Posters while we watched the movie).

I am hoping that it picks up steam on our word of mouth.
