Good point. The whole point of Star Trek is to entertain first and foremost. Don't get too caught up in "canon" to not appreciate what to me is possibly the best Trek film....and I've seen them all...

Hello, first post here! I have been a fan of Star Trek ever since I was a kid in the early 70's......I can remember being about 5 or 6 (circa 1975) and sitting with my dad in his easy chair watching...
