I have a hard time believing this story is legit... but, if done right, could fit into the film perfectly.

45 minutes long is a little much, but 5 minutes could work... and not at the beginning...

The film explains that it is in fact an alternate timeline created by the Narada traveling back in time and attacking the Kelvin....
