^Can't really say I'm getting into the post-NEM books that much (aside from Titan). Though, the series would obviously have a different approach than the books (at least I'd hope they did).

I call myself a Star Trek fan, just as I am a fan of other shows/franchises as well and overall I am a Sci Fi Fan, never made the distinction (such as Trekkie or Trekker) for a particular show.

Odds are these "spoilers" that we all have read will be far from what the movie is actually like. They are pretty fun to read though, imo, and to see how close they are in the end.

I mostly collect the books.

My collection mostly spans the TOS and TNG early series. I do have quite a few of the recent Trek books released.

(Around 60+ novels, at least 90% of them are Trek)

I didn't get a chance to start watching the series until the summer repeats of season 2 in 2003. I tuned in every week to see what episodes I could, but didn't quite become hooked onto the series...
