Mine too. But the cord was a little more than 3 feet. More like 12 - 15 ft. And on the remote it had fast-fwd, rewind, and pause. And sometimes the rewind didn't work.

I hada feeling blu-ray...

I will always remember on the original version when Kirk is in that spacesuit when he was going after Spock. And then his suit changed all of a sudden. The directors cut was extremely well done.
