Patrick Stewart wants to Reprise Role of Prof. X
As long as Brett Ratner is kept 15 billion light years away from it, I'm all for it.
Then why did they CGI him at the end of Wolverine? He could have turned up on set for a day.
They 'de-aged' him with the same crappy tech they used for X3 to make him appear younger. The only thing it makes him appear is like a poor roto-scope victim.
It was the worst CGI I'd seen at the time (the Wolverine shot).
If he's reached a point where he required special effects to make him an Origins age, then how would he reprise his role at all?
The CGI de-aging worked well enough in X3, but I reckon it'd work better with actual make-up. I'd greatly hope for him to return as Xavier in the Magneto origins film, as long as Sir Ian is still playing the elder Magneto. Of course the younger versions of those characters would have to be played by younger actors, but for their mature incarnations I'd love to see the 'original' actors.
Stewart was great Dr. X. The lame X3 left it open for him to come back.
I says we let him. After all, he has already stated he'll never do Picard again.
I don't like this, but still thanks your link.
