I dont know I like Mincemeat all that much. NEver tried the Soulvaki. I've had a Gyro, wether or not they were True greek Gyro or americanized I dont know. But we have a greek restaurant in town thats pretty good. Ran by a Greek gentleman so I expect is pretty authentic.

In the US we have the Daphne's Greek food restaurant chain... I usually get the veggie combo platter with spanakopita, falafel & dolmas. I really like the spanokopita. I like goat cheese and that cucumber sauce... don't know if that's authentic... hummus is everywhere.

Gyro's are great, but aren;t they really an Greek/American creation?
