Reviving old posts
 

Just curious what the policy on reviving posts older then say 4 months is, if there is one. I couldn't really find anything mentioned in the tos or forum rules.

as long as you think you have something to contribute to the topic, there is no rule about reviving old threads...if anyone else thinks what you have to say is relevant, then the thread will continue, in which case it probably needed to be brought back, anyway...

thankyou... just i had a perfect post for something on here and i didn't want to start a new thread just for my post and there was a thread but rather old that i could tie my post into so.... ;)

Someone who doesn't want to start a new thread on an old topic, and is actually asking about it first???

unfortunately, as sometimes occurs with old topics people tend to overlook the post that brought it back up, and restart whatever debate they left unfinished.

Just have a question. How do I display other people's posts in the black box when I am commenting on what they said?

at the bottom of every post, there are three buttons; one says quote, one is a plus sign, ane the third means quick reply. if you click on the plus sign or quote, that post will be inserted into your reply, automatically. if you want to quote more than one post at a time, use the plus sign, thwn when you are ready to reply, click on the words 'post reply' they are on the left hand side, under the last post in a thread on every page.

looks like you got it, good for you!! took me a couple weeks to figure it out.

I think there right i had problems posting on old threads But i felt my words needed to be spoken and that i have good advice.
