iTunes Phaser app
 

There is a new (and free!) "Star Trek Phaser app" in the iTunes app store, but I can't use it (I have no iPod or iAnything).
Could someone take pictures and record the sound?

i just DL'd it, its pretty awesome, ill try and record the sound, however i have a 1st generation Ipod touch, which means no built on speakers, so the sound quality might be bad.

Or perhaps someone can record a youtube video (if it's allowed).
I have no iStuff here, but of course I wanna hear and see what it is :D

I'm glad it was free. Not really worth anything IMO.

What does the app do?

It shows a picture of a phaser. You can do a free play meaning just fire it, a one player game shooting at a target, or 2 player game. Links to pictures and trailers. As you turn the iPhone you can see the top and sides of the phaser. A kill and stun setting.

Unfortunately it does seem to confirm that in the movie when they switch from stun to kill the barrel "flips".

Can I run this on my PC or do I need an iPhone?
