Best Sci Fi Book!
Which is the Best Sci Fi Book in your opinion?
I think 2010: Odyssey Two was the best, it was well written, but unfortunatly the movie didn't do it justice. |
Dune.

There have been so many science fiction books over the years that have had influence. My vote would have to go to several titles. I cannot choose just one.
Stranger in a Strange Land - Robert Heinlein Ferenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury Eon - Greg Bear Jurassic Park - Michael Crichton Invisible Man - H.G. Wells 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - H.G. Wells Time Enough For Love - Robert Heinlein Starship Troopers - Robert Heinlein Dune - Frank Herbert Foundation Trilogy - Isaac Asimov I Robot - Isaac Asimov 1984 - George Orwell Enders Game - Orson Scott Card Each of these books are worth a read. I cannot select just one and if I could I would probably list around 50. Now we need a fantasy thread! Kevin |
The War of the Worlds - H.G. Wells
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea - Jules Verne (KTrek - please note author) Childhood's End - Robert Heinlein 2001: A Space Odyssey - Arthur C. Clarke Dune - Frank Herbert The Caves of Steel - Isaac Asimov The Sword of Shannara - Terry Brooks The "Sector General" stories by James White |
