New forum or subforum when the movie is out?
 

Has there been any thought to starting a new forum (or, subforum if that works) in May for posters after seeing the movie? It would be really nice to be free to discuss it without worrying about spoiling it for someone who hadn't seen it yet.

No idea. Someone mentioned the forum would close when the movie was released.

Oh, that would suck....I would think they'd keep it open at least through the theatrical run....after all, isn't this "word of mouth" (or, at least, word of keyboard)? And, isn't that the lifeblood of ticket sales?

Yes, it would. Hopefully its only a rumour and we'll have plenty of time to post analyse the movie.

I think it will at least be online until the DVDs come out.

I have heard that the forum will continue... So we just don't know - unless the 'Shirts are listening!

So, what do the rest of you think about a "we've seen it" forum (or, a subforum, like there are in General Trek)? I just know it's going to get annoying reading everything in "spoiler" format if those who've seen it are busy trying to protect those who haven't....

I for one like the Idea of a forum for those who have seen it.

I think a sub-forum would be perfect and it's a great idea.

Same here. I really hope they don't close these forums. Perhaps they will move them after the DVD release? Maybe have Star Trek.com take over?
