World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and the Warcraft movie
It's most likely that someone who's both a Trek and WoW fan is rare, but I'll put this here anyway lol :D
Wrath of the Lich King, the next expansion to WoW after The Burning Crusade. Lvl cap raised to 80, new dungeons, new continent, even a chance to fight with Arthas Menethil :o Looks great. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrath_of_the_lich_king - Wikipedia And the Warcraft movie...this deserves some opinion-sharing. Apparently it's going to be from an Alliance perspective (thank god lol). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warcraf...ilm_adaptation - Wikipedia New map: ![]() |

Better just to have it all put on the big screen in about 2 hours...saves time! |
And yet you think reading the harry potter books is better

I loved Waste of a Weekend/WithOut Women when I played it for over two years, but once I explored the last square centimeter of the available map, before Burning Crusade, and made the decision I wasn't going to purchase another round of the same old garbage, just up to level 70, that was it. I haven't looked back. My niece still wants to play it, if she can ever get a decent enough computer for it, but I'm hoping she'll hang out with Uncle in STO.

No point in playing Warcraft 1-3. 3 and the expansion are ok, but for one thing you have to spend about a week buying them on eBay then you have to faff about getting the first one to work (It's DOS), especially if you're on Vista lol. Best solutions are either reading the lore on the site or watching a movie based on it all.

WoW is fun and I am looking forward to the newest expansion and being able to play a DeathNight, but I am not really looking forward to the movie... seems like another bad game to movie... movie.

You never know....as long as Uwe Boll doesn't get his hands on it, it has at least a small chance of hitting lol. Same with the Metal Gear Solid movie.
