Startrek.com, This Site, and The Future
 

Now that the official movie site is up and running, I was wondering what the future will hold for the things affiliated with Star Trek. Will this site once the movie comes out be the official Star Trek site (Better BBS, maybe the start of something) or will the original Startrek.com be around. I'm going on the assumption that the two sites are related (Given that on the teaser, it was pointed to go to Startrek.com) but if I'm wrong, I was just wondering what the future will hold.

I asked Admin_Borg over at st if there's any plans for the two sites to work together on things...

Did he give a response? I know there are admins here so that's why I asked.

He didn't as yet...he's pretty busy getting used to life in Dodge City...

It is always a good idea to keep suspicions like that to yourself. Especially when they are claiming to be someone with their finger on the bann button :cool:

I hope they do something to it... I really want to see the Trek Life to come back.

I was surprised when this separate site popped up. I figured startrek.com would just get overhauled into something like this.

Well, this is really the site for the movie, like what startrek.com has done before. They just added a Message board to this one, which is another reason to make me wonder.

That's what I had anticipated as well...
