STID Deleted Scenes!

The Klingon encounter would have been much better this way! And the original Constitution there would have been soooo lovely...

They've all been removed by user. :(

That's annoying.

What was the scene with the constitution? Am very intrigued about that!

Thanks both for that! Had fun looking at and reading about the deleted scenes.

That was am interesting read. Pretty disgusted at Paramount, and studios in general, for thinking they can do that to consumers who still purchase physical media.

Funny how folks totally accept price discrimination when they buy a stupid burger, a book (paperback, hardcover, ebook) or even movies (when DVDs emerged they had different content than VHS and when Bluray came out it also differed from DVDs) ... but when another new technology comes along, streaming, they suddenly becomes mad.

Not to mention that the case is petty, a few stupid deleted scenes of the third bad remake of TWOK in a row. Of course they are always nice to watch (and sometimes, like in the case of NEM, even better than the movie :D) but they are not edited and thus not something like a director's cut. The only worthwhile extras for movies are stuff like the commentary audio tracks by experts on Criterion releases, several version of a movie or some actual analysis or essay (e.g. Children of Men's Possibility of Hope).

DVD's (including blu-ray) are quickly going the way of the 8-Track tape.

Then I suppose I have a new admiration for folks who have stubbornly held onto their 8-track tapes, glitches and all.
