Paramount, JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot Target Lance Armstrong Cheat Scandal For Movie

Agreed.
Besides that, I'm rather irked as to just how Oprah seemed to manage to get the truth out of him. Personally, I think she cut some kind of deal with him. "You confess on tv on my show, I get the exclusive, and I'll make sure you are set up for life." Think on it, folks. Doesn't it seem rather suspect that he would adamantly deny all these charges of PED use, only to come clean on some housewife fodder television show? Speaking of Oprah.... ![]() |
He didn't have much choice. He is about to lose his fortune. He has to address his PR problem if he wants to make a living.

I still wonder what Oprah offered him. He could've confessed on any show.

Her show specialized in these kinds of redemption stories, it's a smart choice. He didn't use it particularity well, but that show was the right vehicle if you're going to try something like that. She plays the role of a more sympathetic ear for a confession, as opposed to something like cable news where they would lynch him for ratings.
It's sort of her niche. |
That thought did mildly occur to me. She would seem to be a more forgiving ear to speak directly to about it, as opposed to, oh, say Anderson Cooper (I think that's his name) on CNN.
