If such a thing were to become successful, (after the most careful of extensive testing and evaluation) just imagine the possibilities.
No need to worry about organ donors or lack thereof. Need a kidney transplant? No problem. Just give it a little sample of your dna, and not have to worry about rejection.
Or severe burn victims, those who become disfigured by fire. They can look like (potentially) their old selves again, and enjoy life. Maybe not exactly like their old selves, but something close enough to where they can feel proud again.
Just as long as the bio-manufacturers don't charge an arm and a leg for all of this....er...no pun intended.
