Do you think we will see a much mature Kirk in Star Trek Into Darkness:D

In 1 year? MAYbe.... I still think he will have a few kinks to work out.

well in the first rebooted Star Trek movie Captain Kirk was cocky, brash and young, do you think he will act more grown up in Into Darkness and have respect etc.?

Based on what I've been told about the comic storyline so far, and things Orci has said, Kirk will do some "growing up" both as a man and as a starship captain in STID.

Orci basically said that Kirk may be the Captain of the Enterprise at the end of ST2009, but in STID he will learn what it means to be the Captain, and will have to make some hard, character defining decisions.

'He earned it, now he has to own it.'

I think that's clearly going to be one of the planned arcs for Kirk in the film (this is clear from the final line of the prologue and also from the general theme of what Pike is supposed to say to Kirk in the fuller trailer) so the question is whether they succeed in that attempt.

It's certainly looking like it's not a question of 'if' this is an aspect of the film.

Kirk will a little more experienced, but not fully matured both as person and a Captain.
