Saw that. The U.S. has been experiencing extreme weather this summer, seem confirmation that global warming is real. On the other hand, there has been increased solar activity as well, which in turn heats up the Earth, so not sure that it is due to man-made activity, but scary nonetheless.

Global Warming has been confirmed by far too many studies for their to be a question of liberal interpretation. Solar activity and other factors can hasten this but the carbon cycle has been disrupted, evaporation rates increased from since the industrial age, global dimming confirms excess particulate matter in the atmosphere and reflective clouds. There is no question to anyone but big business and conservatives who have every reason in the pocket book not to believe it.

It is time for us to build our Asimovian or BSG-like robots before we end up like the folks from the Easter Islands, before we are going away.

Noted authority Dick Cheney disagrees.
