A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away....................

Not surprising. Where there is mass there is the potential and the early universe has more than enough mass in closer proximity. What we need to figure out is the Dark Matter problem and how it is creating Galaxies then we can start to make coherent theories on the stages of Galaxy Formation.
