Intrepid & Enterprise together again?

It's a bit confusing. The USS Intrepid (NCC-1631) and USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) are both supposed to be Constitution-class starships. Yet there are news stories floating around that the Enterprise will end up as a museum display sitting on the flight deck of the Intrepid. Wha-ah??!

I do recall seeing two NX-class starships belly to belly sharing a warp field, but . . .

You mean the Space Shuttle Enterprise sitting on the deck of the carrier Intrepid in New York Harbour.

Oh--sounds like one of Q's stunts.

That Q - If he's not trying to change the gravitational constant of the Universe or playing with Picard you just can't leave him alone.
