Total Recall: The new version
As the nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai vie for supremacy, a factory worker begins to suspect that he's a spy, though he is unaware which side of the fight he's on.
http://www.imdb.com/list/TB56Gm1AqRw/#play-all Looks like a cross between Fifth Element, Blade Runner and a hundred other representations of the future… It'll probably do okay. |
They should leave that movie alone.

I wonder if Mars comes into it at all?
|
From what I heard, no Mars at all. How can you do Total Recall without Mars?

They just want the brand recognition that goes with the name. That's what all of these remakes are really about.

As with Dune, I expect there will have been too many adaptations for there to exist one that isn't in some way compromised.
The previous Total Recall could have been a great movie, perhaps if not for the Schwarzenegger/Verhoeven factor. |
Wasn't there also a short lived TV series of Total Recall? (Or was it TimeCop?) Ugh....cannae remembah!

I never saw it. And it seems there's still no real way to; if you missed it you missed it. |
