Shots that connect the inside and the outside

This is about something pretty trivial but I am a sucker for shots that show where ship sets are located from the outside and thus make everything appear more real. I thought it'd be nice to collect them.

I only remember three so far:

NCC-73515 10-06-2011 10:00 AM

Captain Tom Coughlin 10-06-2011 10:03 AM

^^^

What episode is that shot from?

it's green

Gotta love early TNG, it looks like Picard boarded a warbird and had the D's observation lounge installed on it. :D

I like the second shot (isn't it from Best of Both Worlds or Family ?), it makes Picard appear so small and fragile.

To me, this shot carries a lot of 60's-ish flavor. With the "window" distortion and distance from the iBridge, along with the set design, this view works pretty good for me. Almost has a 2001 feel also. Just turn out the extra lens-flare causing lights in the background? Not as a direct referral to the ongoing discussion of lens flares, but merely to see what it would objectively look like...:001_cool:

Of course later in the next movie they will have had time to put in the holographic window decals, as all traveled Star Ships will have...
