Happy 80th Birthday Sir Sean Connery!

On this day, August 25th, 1930, the first James Bond was born and his is still the man! You rock! It would have been cool if you were in Star Trek V, I'm sure that would have made it better he he! But at least you got to have a planet named after you. Anyway, happy birthday Sean! Hope you have great one! SCOTLAND FOREVER!

What an amazing actor, he brings a dignity to any part, no matter how bad it is.

Though your reply's meaning initially got by me, due to the fact that I was just regaining a decent cognizance after waking up.......a short delay......."click".......I got it and then laughed so hard I spewed my morning coffee all over my keyboard and monitor! I'm "awake" now.......AND... I have a freshly cleaned work area!:001_tongue:

Well, it's not hard. He just plays every character the exact same way across 30 odd movies!!

He pulls it off though. Not many actors can do that. For example, in The Hunt for Red October, he plays a Russian commander but doesn't make any effort to change his voice. He still has his voice, but at the same time you know he is a Russian. In a way, his style is so cool that he can pull any roll off; well almost any roll.

Of course, let us not forget his role in your very own movie!

I don't know but the word dignity and this picture don't match for me.

I am more of a Roger Moore Bond fan but I liked Connery alongside Harrison Ford. I suddenly remembered my Charlemagne. Let my armies be the rocks and the trees and the birds in the sky.
